In the UK, all upholstered furniture must strictly adhere to fire safety regulations and display the correct fire labels. At Xcel Furniture, we only sell items that fully comply with these essential safety standards. Please note that for the safety of our customers and to remain compliant with the law, we cannot accept or sell any upholstered items that are missing their original fire safety labels.
Quick Fire Label Guide
- Look for a permanent label securely attached to the item.
- Checked for wording stating it meets UK fire regulations.
- Ensure manufacturer details are clearly visible.
- Missing or cut-off labels mean we cannot accept or sell the item.
